For Casa Prencipe, sustainability means concrete action and commitment.

For us, sustainability means protecting authentic Made in Italy. It means supporting quality farming by choosing only locally grown Italian durum wheat and semolina—among the finest in the world.

A sustainable company listens actively and remains open. We believe that pursuing profit is essential and entirely compatible with creating value and benefits for consumers.

Inspired by these values, since 2014 Pastificio Casa Prencipe has supported an initiative by the Legambiente FestambienteSud association in Monte Sant’Angelo, proposing an “ECO-ETIQUETTE FOR FOOD FREEDOM”: a ten-point guide emphasising that “eating well and making conscious food choices are not private matters, but civic virtues that contribute to the well-being of the community.”

According to the ten-point guide, a responsible citizen:

1. Eats well 2. Knows how to cook 3. Does not waste water 4. Buys less food 5. Chooses ethically produced food 6. Does not overeat 7. Chooses seasonal products 8. Does not eat too much meat 9. Prefers locally produced food 10. Protects farmland and natural ecosystems
